Wanda L. Viermann, 83, passed away 2:58 a.m. Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Integrity Healthcare of Wood River.
Born on December 16, 1932 in Marble Hill, MO, she was the daughter of ______.
She had worked as a seamstress for the Brown Shoe Co for 15 years before retiring in 1965.
On August 16, 1958 in St. Louis, she married Clifford L. Viermann, Sr. He died in 1992.
Survivng are a son, Clifford L. Viermann, Jr. of Wood River; daughter, Joyce (Jack) Holmes of Wood River; a granddaughter, Stacie (Christopher) Geisler; step-grandchildren, Brian (Tanya) Holmes, Amy Holmes; and four great grandchildren.
Her parents; husband; and a sister, Annie "Margie" Smith preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Pastor Christopher Geisler will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
