Virginia M. Kuhnline, 92, of Brighton, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Jersey Community Hospital.

She was born on October 11, 1932, in Wood River, the daughter of the late Jasper and Mae (Utnage) DiPaolo.

Virginia was a bookkeeper for Kinstra Concrete, Midland Ready Mix, and Farmers Insurance, not retiring until she was 86. She loved to travel both in the US and abroad, going everywhere from the beaches in Hawaii to an Alaskan cruise, where she traveled the Iditarod trail and did a Helicopter tour. For many years she would take 2 trips to Ruidoso, NM to visit family and took several trips with her husband and family to New Bedford, MS, to collect Ivory for Lance’s Scrimshaw.

She married Lance V. Kuhnline on December 31, 1951, in Pocahontas, AR. He preceded her in death in 1988.

Virginia is survived by three children, Jeff (Sue) Kuhnline of Brighton, Vicki (Lou) Mouser of Brighton, and Rebecca Bachman of Alton; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Mae; husband, Lance; son, Vincent “Michael” Kuhnline; brother, John DiPaolo.

Visitation will be held from 10 am until 11:40 am on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Brighton.

Burial will at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Carrollton.

Memorials may be made to Masses or American Heart Association.
