Vincent Paul Baumgartner, 65, of Carrollton went home to be with His Lord Sunday Jan. 17, 2021 at his home after a short illness.
He was born on April 21, 1955 in Carrollton. Preceding him in death was wife Tracy (Hubbs) Baumgartner, his parents Richard and Irene (McCallister) Baumgartner and 3 brothers: James (surviving wife Bonnie), Ron (wife Pam) and Chris Baumgartner all formerly of Carrollton.
Surviving are his daughters: Devan (companion Scott) Baumgartner of Charleston, IL, Maura (husband Colby) Camerer of Carrollton, 3 step-children: Michelle Summers, Nicole Turner, Austin Graham, 11 grandchildren: Nolan, Lily, Marlee, Jax, Jordan, Makenzi, Kenyan, Jalin, Kenli, Ella and Graesyn, two sisters: Frances Wade, Linda Greaves both of Carrollton, brothers: Larry (wife Marsha) of Carrollton, Richard (wife Rita), Dave (wife Paula) both of Jerseyville, Doug (wife Brenda) of Minden, LA, and Craig Baumgartner of Carrollton.
Vince was retired and loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He loved to fish, hunt, and play golf with his brothers and nephews.
Vince was loved by everyone who knew him. His kids and grandkids thought he was the best.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021 at the Carrollton City Cemetery at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
