Vera June Alexander, nee Maul, 89, of Mascoutah, died on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Highland Health Care Center.  

June retired as a ward clerk from St. Mary’s Hospital in East St. Louis and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in O’Fallon, IL.

 She is preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Rulon, nee Blanks, Maul, husband, Theodore Alexander, who died on Oct. 31, 2005, granddaughter, Kimberly Gray, sisters, Patricia Maul and Katherine Sweeney, and son-in-law, Leon Gray.  

 She is survived by three daughters, Vicki Huffmon, Robin Gray, Valerie Williams; four grandchildren, Zane (Kim) Fulp, Amber and Ashley Huffman, and Ryan Clark; six great grandchildren, Jaslyn and Laila Johnson, Markus and Mercedes Clark, Zoey and Mia Fulp.

  FUNERAL: A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at Victory Baptist Church in O’Fallon, IL with Pastor Jon Cannon officiating.  June was cremated and her cremains will be buried in Arcadia Cemetery in Ironton, MO at a later date.
