Van D. Frizell was born July 19, 1974, in Alton, Illinois. He was the son of Wanda Frizell and Van Sullivan. He was a 1993 graduate of Alton High School.
Van worked several jobs including Lowe's and Home Depot. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed music; Fred Hamonds was one of his favorite singers.
On Monday, February 7, 2022, Van was released from the Cares of this World. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry Frizell and Lillie Mae Hinton, his aunt Alberta Gater and his uncles Eugene Hinton and Virgil Alexander.
He leaves to forever cherish and remember precious memories, his brothers Charles Harris and Damon Frizell, his aunts Henrietta Frizell of Alton; Illinois, Georgianna Roberson of Springfield, Illinois; and Louise Williams of Kalamazoo, Michigan; niece Nicol Sanders of Dallas, Texas; and Charles Harris III of Alton; his godson DaRome Smith, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service celebrating his will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. at Cathy M. Williams & Sons Funeral Home 1696 Oakwood Ave. Alton. IL 62002
