Tommy B. Ruyle Jr., 90, of Jerseyville, passed away at 9:21 p.m. on Feb 6, 2025, at Evercare Nursing Home in Jerseyville.
Tommy B was born on July 23, 1934, in Kemper, IL to Thomas B Ruyle Sr & Velma Catherine (Bennett) Ruyle.
Tommy B married Dolores (Maple) Ruyle on June 28, 1954, in Medora, IL. Dolores preceded him in death on Dec 24, 2022.
He was an avid farmer who loved his church where he served as Deacon, Trustee, Sunday School Teacher, & Youth Group Leader.
They are survived by 2 sons: Thomas B (Susan) Ruyle III and Richard (Cindy) Ruyle, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one brother, Clifford Ruyle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers; Robert & Bill Ruyle.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tues Feb 11, 2025, at Bethel Baptist Church in Jerseyville with services at 11 a.m. at the church. The burial will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Medora.
Memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church, where he was a member for over 60 years.
