Jeffrey “Todd” Ambuehl, age 54 of Greenville, passed away at his home Monday, February 10, 2025.
Visitation will be held at the Greenville First Christian Church on 1100 Killarney Drive in Greenville, IL from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, February 13. The Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2025, at the church. Memorials are asked to be made to the Bond County Food Pantry or the First Christian Church.
Todd, the son of Doug Ambuehl and Joyce Royer Lutz, was born October 15, 1970, in Greenville, Illinois. Todd graduated from Greenville High School with the Class of 1989. He furthered his education at Greenville College where he studied Psychology. He then attended the University of Utah where he obtained his master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Todd was a gifted athlete. He excelled as a basketball player at both the high school and college levels. Todd was active on the Greenville College campus all four years and graduated with honors.
Todd and Veronica Klotz were united in marriage in 1994 and have a son Cale Nathaniel Ambuehl. Todd is survived by his father Doug Ambuehl and wife Nancy of Greenville, mother Joyce Lutz of Greenville, sister Melody Langham and husband Kirk of Greenville, brother Chad Ambuehl and wife Jessica of Collinsville, brother Ben Ambuehl and wife Christi of Athens, Georgia, sister Tara Lutz of Greenville, and son Cale Ambuehl and fiancé Mackenzie Cox of Kansas City, Missouri.
Todd was passionate and encouraging about his church, family, friends, his beloved Cardinals and Fighting Illini, and all people he encountered. He loved the Lord and strived to be an example of Christ daily.
