Timothy “Timbo” Smith, 37, went to meet with the Lord on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 8:40 a.m. Born April 17, 1981 in Alton, he was the son of Timothy Smith and Lolita Blair. Tim was known for his huge heart and his sense of humor. He was loved by all. Surviving are his mother, Lolita Blair of Godfrey, father, Timothy Smith (Carrie) of Godfrey, step-mother, Shelley Smith of Brighton. Also left behind are his four children, Chase, Hope, Keyrra, and Timothy Jr. His siblings, Chris Smith (Ali) of Bunker Hill and Amanda Smith of Brighton, two nephews, Christopher and Jackson Smith along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Rosalie Winchester and his Aunt Janet. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
