Timothy “Tim” Porter, 56, died on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. He was born July 20, 1956 in Alton the son of Evelyn (Allsman) Porter of Alton and the late Carl Eugene Porter. He worked for Joe Rasman Demolition. Besides his mother he is survived by two brothers; Carl J. Porter (Diane) of Godfrey and Mark Porter of Alton, Aunts and Uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at Upper Alton Cemetery. Reverend Andre’ Dobson will officiate.
