Thomas Noll

Thomas "Tom" M. Noll, age 41, passed away at 12:02 pm on July 26, 2010 at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, CA.
He was born on November 4, 1968 in Alton, IL the son of Clement & Rosalind "Ro" (Vicari) Noll.
Tom worked in many restaurants in the San Diego area. He attended Marquette Catholic High School and Alton High School where he graduated in 1987, he then attended Western Illinois University and Lewis & Clark Community College where he graduated. He loved playing soccer in high school and for many select teams in the area, he then went on to play for three years in college. Tom greatly enjoyed the beaches, where he road his bike, and the California lifestyle, where he befriended the homeless with food and conversation.
He is survived by his mother and three sisters; Vicki Sheffer of Staunton, Nancy Henson of Bloomington, and Sharon Loucks of Alton, one brother; Clem and his wife Jennifer Noll of Lee’s Summit, MO, three aunts and their spouses; Alice and Joe Maher of Alton, Joan and Ed Downes of Columbus, MO, and Fran Chappell of Godfrey, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Clement, on September 16, 2008, and his grandparents Dom and Josephine Vicari, and Clem and Alvina Noll.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of mass at 10 am on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, in Alton.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
