Thomas A Ott, 78 years of Belleville, IL, passed away July 1, 2025 at Liberty Village in Maryville. He was born August 13, 1946.
Thomas proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Ameren and was a proud member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 101 Union out of Belleville. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a hard worker and loved to be outside watching the birds. One of his favorite things was going out to eat and loved frequenting Pistol City for breakfast.
Surviving are his children, Brandon (Melissa) Ott, Justin (Tenley) Ott , Amber (Steve) Ott, Kelly (Jonathan) Jones; grandchildren, Kyle Fricker, Riley Jones, Ashley Jones, Jared Ott, Dylan Ott, Dane Ott, Zachary Howe, Hudson Ott and Harper Ott; sister, Janice (Ron) Dreyer; his dearest friend, Naomi Morris along with nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Amelia (Klass) Ott and brother, Terry Ott.
Thomas will be buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO with a private graveside service. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cutter's Bar and Grill, 239 Carlyle Ave., Belleville, IL 62221.
