Theresa Ann Bunse, 56, died 6:05 p.m., Friday, August 24, 2012 at the Jerseyville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center from complications stemming from a recent stroke.
She is survived by two sisters, Barbara Bunse of Jerseyville and Carol Bunse of Alton; two brothers, Father Jerry Bunse of Farmersville and Mike, and his wife, Mary Bunse of Glen Carbon; two nephews, Michael Bunse & Andy Bunse both of Glen Carbon; two aunts, Mary Jane Baalman of Hardin and Betty Ulery of Fieldon; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandparents, Henry & Mary Bunse and Lynley & Josephine Ulery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where a prayer service will be read at 3:45 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville, with her brother, Fr. Jerry Bunse, and Father William Hembrow officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Fieldon.
Memorials may be given to the St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic Schools or to Masses.
