Thelma M. Bosoluke, 76, died at 1:07 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Eunice Smith Nursing Home in Alton. Born May 1, 1936 in Alton, she was the daughter of Dave and Pearl (Rutman) Turner. She retired as a selector for Owens Illinois Glass. She was a devoted wife and mother, loved her family and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. She enjoyed outings to Jo K’s with her daughter. She married Walter Bosoluke in 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton. He preceded her in death in January 2010. Surviving is a daughter, Sue Bosoluke of Alton, four brothers, Clarence Turner (Sharon) of Bethalto, Marvin Turner (Betty) of Hartford, Larry Turner (Vickie) of Godfrey, and Gary Turner (Elaine) of Jerseyville, a sister, Patty Ann Carter (Chuck) of Virginia, a step brother, Frank Hartley (Carolyn) of Alton and a cousin, Helen Dial of S. Roxana, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Juanita Heck, Goldie Turner, Rosemary Turner, and Ruth Wilson, a brother, David Turner, and a step sister, Stella Marie Eyster. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
