Terry Lyon Sr., 77, died at 1:42 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on September 16, 1947 in Alton, the son of the late Charles Leland and Mary (Brooks) Lyon.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, where he served during the TET offensive of 1969. Terry was an avid car enthusiast, a computer wizard and movie buff. He retired from Olin Brass as a machinist.
On August 24, 1987 in Alton, he married Sherry Libbra, and she preceded him in death on September 16, 2011.
Surviving are and one step-daughter, Tisha Rhine (Leroy) of Alton, one son, and two grandchildren, Alexia Asaro and Jeremy Rhine. No services are scheduled at this time.
