Terry Lee Mason, 65, passed away 10:06 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2014 at his residence.Born in East St. Louis on Februart 25, 1949, he was the son of John and Shirley (Richter) Mason.Terry had been a Police Officer in the City of Wood River 26 years before retiring in 2003.Surviving him are fiance', Tracy Pate; son, Sean Mason of Benld; daughter, Crystal Huppert of Missouri; 14 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, Harry (Kathleen) Mason of Holiday Shores, Larry (Margo) Mason of Marengo, IL, Patrick Mason of Vail, CO; and three sisters, Richilyn (Gary) Broaddus of Middleburg, FL, Coleen (Rick) Blasioli of Wood River, Tracy (Kurt) Collins of Wheeling, WV.Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.In accordance with his wishes, his body will be cremated following the visitation.Private initerment will be in Forrest Gardens Memorial Cemetery in Minoqua, WI.Memorials may be made to "Backstoppers" or the Oasis Center.
