Terri Lynn Frakes, age 66 of Granite City, IL, born April 27, 1958, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Terri was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friends to many. She was a spiritual person and enjoyed participating in drum circles and prayer groups. She was an avid animal lover and was a member of AA for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Andrea Angel Bailey; her parents, Bert Anthony Bailey and Wanda Jean Frakes; a sister, Mary Apostol; and a brother, Paul Apostol.
Surviving are her two sons: Ian (Tina) Johnston and Michael (Jessica) Wilson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and an aunt, Dolores “Dee Dee” Johnston.
Memorial visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday, December 9, 2024 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.
Memorial service will follow at 12 noon officiated by Rev. Ron Habermehl.
