Tena Albert

Tena Marlene Albert, 65, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Community Memorial Hospital, Staunton, IL on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 6:20 p.m. She was born February 26, 1959, in Cairo, IL to Woodville Houston & Sylvia Denning Houston. She married Edward L. Albert on December 10, 1974 in Pacific, MO. She was retired after having been a social worker and an autism advocate. Tena enjoyed motorcycle riding and formed the group, Bikers Against Autism. She is survived by her spouse, Edward "Sonny" Albert of Bunker Hill, IL, daughter, Candi Albert (fiancé, Mark Haluch) of Ship.m.an, IL, grandchildren, Tarran Albert, Jared Albert, siblings, Rick (Char) Layton of Pacific, MO, Daryl Houston of Sullivan, MO, Jill Houston of Bentonville, AR and brother in law, Roger Albert. Tena was preceded in death by her parents, son, Caine Albert and brother, Greg Houston. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Roxana Church of the Nazarene and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 12 p.m. at the Roxana Church of the Nazarene.
