Teena E. Lynn, 64, passed away at 6:05 pm Monday, February 14, 2011 at Christian North East Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born on December 28, 1946 in Alton, IL, the daughter of Green and Beulah (Christianson) Parker.
She married Richard Lynn on August 12, 1966 in Alton, IL. He survives.
Teena was a homemaker most of her life. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, watching her grandchildren and she loved animals.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Yvonne Lynn, Rixene and Scott Simmons and Leeann Lynn all of Alton; seven grandchildren, Mike Greer, Tiffany Greer, Amanda Greer, Mike Caldwell, Tony Caldwell, Bethany Chappel and Brie Chappel and two great grandchildren, Abigail Greer and Kashmir Greer.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In celebration of her life, a visitation will be from 11:00 am to service time at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Tim Gill officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
