Tammy Sanders

Tammy J. Sanders, 43, died at 11:01 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020.  Born February 23, 1977 in Alton, she was the daughter of Robert J. Sanders of Dow and Georgetta Morrow of Alton and step-daughter of Lisa A. Sanders of Brighton.  Along with her parents Tammy is survived by eight children, Danny Cope III, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Brandon, Taylor, Mariah, John and Caleb, one grandson, Connor, a brother, Brent Sanders of Jerseyville and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie Jo Sanders.  Private services will be held at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.  Reverend Steve Rice will officiate.  Burial will be at Upper Alton Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
