Sue F. Roach, 73, formerly of Alton, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021.
Born March 3, 1947 in Alton, she was a daughter of Rhine S. and Madolyn (Crawford) Grable.
Sue worked as a hairdresser for almost 20 years. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed knitting and working puzzles. She loved being with her family any time she could.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Mark) Massa of Chesterfield, MO; her son, Joseph (Christy) Ricci of Bethalto; four grandchildren, Zachary and Haley Massa and Brenden and Nathan Ricci; two sisters, Iris Origliosso of Collinsville and Betty (Don) Courtial of Belleville; and a brother-in-law, Bill Hargrave.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Joseph Taylor Ricci; a sister, Jacquelyn Hargrave; and her brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Erma Grable.
Due to Covid-19 crowd restrictions, private family services will be held.
Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
