Stephanie Jean Phillips passed away Friday, July 8, 2016, at her home. She was 32 years old.
She was born April 15, 1984, in Bakersfield, CA, the daughter of Rick and Patti (Richards) Phillips. She lived in Shafer, CA, for the first 12 years of her life, where she has left behind a large family of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins who grieve for her. She graduated from Southwestern High School in 2002. Stephanie was loved and needed. Our lives will never be the same without her.
In addition to her mother, Patti; she is survived by her siblings, Stephyn Phillips, Christi Phillips, and Debbie Asher; her Illinois family whom she loved, several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, who are devastated; four nieces; three nephews; she was especially close to her two youngest nieces, Zoey and Evie, she loved them dearly; and also her grandfather, Vyrlin Richards, whom she loved with all her heart.
Preceding her in death is her beloved and much missed Daddy, Rick Phillips; a grandfather, Ernie Phillips; a grandmother whom she was named for, Jean Baker; and her grandmother Louise Richards; she also lost two cousins that she loved very much, Ricky and Amy.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2016, from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at Noon at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Burial will take place in Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
