Stanley B. Scoggins, 89, of Carlinville, IL, died at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 5:07 a.m. He was born January 21, 1935, in Jerseyville, IL to Lumie Scoggins & Juanita Shaw Scoggins. He married Patsy Goodman Scoggins on November 8, 1958 in Creve Coeur, IL. He was a truck driver. Stanley enjoyed cars and motorcycles. He is survived by his spouse, Patsy Scoggins of Carlinville, IL, daughter, Patti (Mike) Janssen of Carlinville, IL, grandchildren, Tara (Justin) Snyder, Faron (Joseph) Bomkamp, great-grandchildren, Henley Bomkamp, Addley Bomkamp, Kora Snyder and Londyn Snyder. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Eleanor Gilliatt. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie, IL from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie, IL at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Carlinville, IL.
