Stacey Jean Norris, 54, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton, Illinois following a three year battle with cancer.
Stacey was born on May 17, 1971 in Jerseyville, Illinois to James and Roberta (Hardy) Stone. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her for her giving and nurturing nature. She was an avid reader and a member of Jerseyville Public Library since she was old enough to read. She was raised in church and was a Christian and member of Life Points Church. Stacey was a people person. Her career as a restaurant manager at Pizza Hut and then Steak & Shake, gave her the opportunity to meet many people and develop many friendships, which she truly enjoyed. But, there was nothing more important to Stacey than spending time with her family and spoiling her precious grandbabies.
Stacey is preceded in death by her parents, James and Roberta Stone.
She leaves behind her husband of 35 years, Matt Norris and three sons, Cody Norris and spouse Chelsea of Jerseyville, Cory Norris and spouse Julia of Jerseyville, Connor Norris and spouse Molly of Alton; a brother, John Stone and wife Joanne of Granite City; three sisters, Wanda Stone of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mary Usoff of Deer Park, Texas, Sharon Ridgard and spouse Graham of Dallas, Texas; niece/sister, Tammy Marlatt Murphy and spouse Paul of Corpus Christi, Texas; and a special cousin/sister, Dawn DeSherlia. Stacey also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2025 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
