Sherry Holybee, 63, passed away on March 9, 2021 at DePaul Hospital. She was born on October 16, 1957 in Jerseyville to Norman & Dimple (White) Burch. She married Sean Holybee on October 27, 2001 at Otterville Baptist Church. Sherry was a retired paramedic for Jersey, Madison, and Greene County. Sherry was also a member of The Bridge Church in Alton.
She is survived by her husband: Sean Holybee; her children: Kourtney (Joe) Kantor, Josh (Lindsay) Laird, and Drew (Laura) Laird; her stepchildren: Jesse Holybee and Shelby Holybee; her grandchildren: Kyler, Keagan, and Kameron Kantor, Ellie & Alaina Laird, Max & Ryan Laird, and Noah Holybee; and her siblings: Judy (Jim) Woolsey and Randy (Cindy) Burch.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Home. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:00 am at Alexander Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Helfrich will be officiating the service and burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pound Pets in Granite City, Illinois.
