Sheri Lynn Hensley, 42, passed away unexpectedly at 9:16 pm Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Jersey County Hospital in Jerseyville.
She was born on February 22, 1970 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Darvin Hensley and Dorothy Robinson.
Sheri was a supervisor at Riverbend Headstart and Family Services in Granite City. She was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her children.
She is survived by her partner, Patrick Wieneke of Medora and her children, Patrick Jr. and Sydney Wieneke; her father and his wife, Darvin and Marilyn Hensley of Worden; a brother, Scott Hensley and his son, Braydon of Roxana; a half brother, Ashley; two step brothers, Kenneth Wieseman and Tracey of Worden and David Wieseman and Chris of Sorento; two step sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Eugene Hampton and Mary and Kerry Butcher all of Worden; Patrick’s parents, Brenda and Otto Wieneke of Bethalto; his brother, Ronald Wieneke of Godfrey; his sister and her spouse, Lisa and Travis Jones of Moscow Mills, MO and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Robinson and her birth mother, Dell Hickman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday, October 29, 2012 at the funeral home with Father Tom Liebler officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
