Sharon Ann Thomeczek, 81, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, at her home at High Point Residence in Jerseyville surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 20, 1943, in Patterson, MO, the daughter of C. William and Merle (Kinnison) Bottorff.
Sharon married Joseph James Thomeczek April 28, 1962, with the union ending in January of 1990. Seven children were born to this union, Joseph James II, David James, Tina Marie, Sherry Lynn, Brian Lee, and infant, and Lynn Marie. They moved to Bourbon MO in 1973 where they enjoyed living on the farm and raising their family. Jasmine remained by her side until the end.
Sharon enjoyed camping and float trips with family and friends. She loved the water. Sharon had many talents including sewing, modeling, ceramics, and singing. She had a beautiful singing voice and always had a song on her heart. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends; there were always laughs and good times.
