Sharon Peterson

Sharon Kay Peterson, 80, of Gillespie, IL, died at Heritage Health of Gillespie, Gillespie, IL on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 3:00 pm. 

She was born August 24, 1941, in Belleville, IL to Arnold McDaniel & Lillian Vogt McDaniel.  She married Loraine "Pete" Peterson on September 8, 1962, in Columbia.  She was a receptionist for Liese Lumber Co, Belleville, IL. 

She is survived by her husband, Loraine "Pete" Peterson of Gillespie, IL, children, Monica (Bradley) Lemke of Staunton, IL, Darrin "Pete" (Jennifer) Peterson of Gillespie, IL, Greta (Deron) Stein of St. Jacob, IL, Shanna (Kevin) Sullivan of Belleville, IL, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, sister, Elaine Cook and brother in law, Robert Werner. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Eli Peterson, sister, Charlotte Werner, and brother-in-law, Paul Cook.
