Sharon Ann Lamparter, 59, died at 9:21 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at St. Louis University Hospital. Born September 10, 1954 in Alton, she was the daughter of James and Margaret (Koehne) Rutledge. She worked in quality control at Graham Packaging in Florissant, MO for over 20 years. Surviving are two daughters, Susan Hitchcock of Granite City, and Jennifer Garcia (Michael) of Granite City, one son, Christopher Lamparter of Alton, five grandchildren, Taylor Hitchcock, Emily, Kyle, and Troy Garcia, and Erik Lamparter, and two sisters, Brenda Sackman (Mike) of Godfrey, and Linda Campbell of Thonotosassa, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be private.
