Sharon A. Belfield, 62, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at her home.
Born July 12, 1948 in St. Louis, she was a daughter of Glennon John and Virginia Alice (Rencehausen) Watkins.
She is survived by her mother; two daughters, Paula Boone and her husband Richard, and Michele Ann Belfield, all of East Alton; 6 grandchildren, Carrie Ann Boone, Brett Aaron Boone, Richard Ellis Boone III, Jason Eugene Gargac, Sean Michael Belfield, and Breanna Nicole Belfield; two sisters, Mary Louise Appleton and Virginia “Babe” Watkins, both of St. Louis; two brothers, John Glenn Watkins and Charles Watkins, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; her dog, Rascal; and her bird, Pepe. She was loved by her family, friends, and everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Debbie Ruth Watkins; and her best friend, Danny Hayes.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 23 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights from 1 p.m. until a memorial service at 2 p.m. Rev. Andre Holly will officiate.
