Scott D. Parks, age 56, of Aurora, KY passed away at his home on Jan. 1, 2022.
Scott was born August 15, 1965, in Highland to David and Diann (nee Hartlieb) Parks.
He is survived by: his mother Diann Mettler of Aurora, KY; his brother Shaun D. (Jackie) Parks of Jacksonville, FL; nieces Katrina and Ashlee Parks; step-sister Jennifer Mettler of Cheyenne, WY; step-brother Matt Mettler of Highland; aunts Norma J. Hartlieb of Lebanon, IL; Phyllis J. Sandlin and Judy Hartlieb; both of Highland and numerous cousins.
Scott was preceded in death by: his father David Parks; step-father Dale Mettler, uncles Duane, Burnell, and Jerry Hartlieb; maternal grandparents Chester and Louise Hartlieb and paternal grandparents Roy and Reba Parks.
Scott graduated from Highland High School in 1984 and worked in the construction and building industry. The last years he was self-employed as a handyman and could handle all aspects of home repairs and remodeling.
A celebration of life will be held in Highland at a later date.
