Sandra Hayes, 68, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born Jan. 28, 1944 in Lincoln, Neb., she was a daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Little) Large.
She worked as an assembly line packer for Willert Home Products in St. Louis.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Jaclyn N. Hayes of Bethalto; a grandson, Danny Michael Hayes II of Cottage Hills; 5 great grandchildren, Haedon, Kaylee, Collin, Dylin and Alexis; and a brother, James Large of Sedgewickville, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Danny M. Hayes I, and a sister, Jackie Sidwell.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 31 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Rosewood Heights.
