Samuel J. "Sammy" St. Clair Jr., 49, passed away at 5:58 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at his residence. He was born on October 19, 1961, in Alton, Illinois the son of Samuel J. and Charlene (Bockholdt) St. Clair Sr. He married the former Cynthia Boyd in April of 1986 in Collinsville, Illinois and they later divorced and she survives. Other survivors include his father and his companion: Samuel J. St. Clair Sr. and Margaret of Las Vegas, Nevada, his mother and step - father: Charlene and Dick Temple of Wood River, one son: Corey St. Clair of Troy, one daughter: Brittany St. Clair of Glen Carbon an expectant granddaughter: Brooklynn Marie, one brother and sister in law: Byford and Autumn St. Clair of Godfrey, and two nieces: Madeline and Lorelai St. Clair of Godfrey.
He was employed as a machinist at Imperial Sheet Metal in Alton. He loved to play pool, competitive roller skating, and baseball.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his step - mother: Linda St. Clair.
In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 11am until time of memorial services at 1pm on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Rev. Mark Scandrett will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his children.
