Ruth Pinkerton

Ruth M. Pinkerton, 100, of Litchfield, IL, died at Litchfield Health and Rehab Center, Litchfield, IL on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 4:45 am.  She was born August 31, 1923, in Mena, AR to Alvin Beckwith & Mary Voerster Beckwith.  She married Marion Pinkerton in 1944 in Vallejo, CA.  He preceded her in death in 1978.  She was an assembler and painter for Duracraft where she retired in 1986.  Ruth was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Litchfield.  She was an avid reader who enjoyed gardening, shopping and being with her family.  She is survived by her children, Harry (Karen) Pinkerton of Litchfield, IL, Jeffrey (Viola) Pinkerton of Wood River, IL, Peggy (Kevin) Kuethe of Staunton, IL, Daniel (Carol) Pinkerton of Staunton, IL, grandchildren, Scott Pinkerton, Adriane Calladine, Jennifer Mills, Kimberly Pinkerton, Andrew Pinkerton, Kendra Sigafoos, Daniel Pinkerton, great-grandchildren, Eric & Baeley Pinkerton, Billy & Alex Calladine, Alexis & Logan Brown, Jack, Kendall, Sophia & Sam Sigafoos, great great grandson, Jasper Pinkerton.  Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, son, Timothy Pinkerton, sisters, Marie Henderson, Hellen Henderson.  Friends may call on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.  Funeral services are Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 am at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL.  Burial will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bunker Hill, IL.  Memorials are suggested to Faith Lutheran Church of Litchfield or Trinity Lutheran Church of Mena, AR.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
