Ruth Fagan, age 88, originally from Alton, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 in Douglasville, GA. She was born in Waltonville, Illinois on February 21, 1922 to the late Isaac and Lena Quinn. She worked for 27 years in quality control for Owens Illinois Glass Company. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Alton, Illinois.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Catherine Fagan of Ohio, Joe and Stephanie Fagan of Germany; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and John Schildroth of Douglasville; grandchildren, Jeffrey Fagan, Jennifer Roberts, Jason Schildroth, Jessica Fagan and Sean Fagan; great grandchildren, Dana Mobley, Dylan Roberts, Leslie Roberts, Molly Fagan, Jeremy Fagan, Ethan Fagan, Logan Schildroth, Liam Fagan and Hannah Schildroth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Fagan; sisters, Marcella Ujka, Lois Minton, Hattie Mabry; brothers, Glenn Quinn, Joe Quinn and Ralph Quinn; great granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Schildroth.
Private graveside services will be held at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto on Thursday, January 6, 2010.
