Ruth Ann Boeser, age 86 of Trenton, IL, died Friday, March 11, 2022, at Cedarhurst of Greenville in Greenville, IL. 

She was born on Monday, May 20, 1935, in Beckemeyer, IL, the daughter of John and Cecilia (nee Dieckmann) Peters. 

On Tuesday, October 18, 1955, she married Francis C. Boeser at Beckemeyer, Illinois, who survives. 

She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, Illinois, Life Member of VFW Auxiliary, and the Clinton County REA Advisory Committee. 

Ruth was born in Beckemeyer and attended St. Anthony's School in Beckemeyer and St. Mary's School in Carlyle. She was a homemaker and daycare provider for 20 years. She loved her family and always looked forward to their visits for ice cream and watermelon on the porch. Ruth's hobbies were cross-stitching, especially quilt blocks, playing cards and bingo with friends as well as picking out pecans from the family's numerous Pecan trees. She enjoyed canning pears, tomatoes, and peaches from the farm. She loved babies and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also liked having lunch with her girls and daughters-in-law.

Boeser, Trenton, IL; Daughter - Diane C. (Roger) Busch, Highland, IL; Daughter - Cynthia J. (Steve) Gnaedinger, Pocahontas, IL; Son - Brian F. (Peggy) Boeser, Trenton, IL; Daughter - Sheryl J. (Cory) Hess, Alhambra, IL; Son - Steven J. (Alice) Boeser, Export, PA; Daughter - Judi D. Pollmann; Brother - Henry "Butch" Peters; Sister - Agnes Marie Lodes; Brother - Vincent Peters; Brothers In-Law - Leroy Leonard; Bernard Pollmann; Ray Pingsterhaus; Alphonse Olliges; Sister-In-Law - Imogene Dickhaut. 

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, and from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. 

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL. 

Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL. 

Memorial contributions may be made to King's House Retreat or Our Lady of the Snows.
