Russell Keith Eddinger, 95, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
He was born Sept. 8, 1928 in Winchester, IL. Keith worked in the maintenance department for Granite City Steel for 43 years. He was a member of the Bethalto Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Eddinger; two sons, Jeffery (Sue) Eddinger and Kevin (Vanessa) Eddinger; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 67 years Naomi Eddinger; his son Brian Eddinger; and his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Buck Johnson.
Visitation will be at the Bethalto Church of God on Friday, Sept. 22 from 4 p.m. until services begin at 7 p.m. Friends and family will gather at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Bethalto Church of God for a prayer and the procession to Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to various youth programs at the Bethalto Church of God.
