Rosemary Schreier, 79, passed away at 2:55 am Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, MO.
She was born on January 25, 1932 in Hettick, IL, the daughter of Charles John Henry & Nancy Marie (Halcom) Stamm.
She married Paul W. Schreier on June 28, 1953 in Alton, IL. He survives.
She was a charter member of the First Church of God in Meadowbrook and worked for JC Penney in Alton as a furniture specialist and enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Teresa & Chase Thibodaux of Dallas, Texas, Dawn & James Reagan of Alhambra, Illinois and Denise Schreier of Madison, Illinois; seven grandchildren and spouses, Ryan Thomas & Shasta Miller, Mackenzie Leigh & Ben Bow, Mary Rose Reagan, Donal Paul Reagan, Micheal Paul Thorp, Brenden William Pinkas, and Austin Lawrence Scaturro; three great grandchildren, Michaela Williams, John Cook, and Avery Miller; four sisters and two brothers-in-law and one brother, Pearl Edna & Jack Springer of Grafton, Delores & Tom Cunningham of Bunker Hill, Elsie Gibson of Paragould, Arkansas, Earl Stamm of Lake City, Michigan and Gada Williams of Lebanon, Missouri.
In addition to her parents, four brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday, January 20, 2012 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 21, 2012 at First Church of God in Meadowbrook with Pastor Jonathan Absher officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
