Rosemary Rickman, age 70, passed away at 9:34 am Friday, December 21, 2012 at her residence.
She was born on July 16, 1942 in Alton the daughter of the late Woodrow and Mary Twitty.
Rosemary married John Rickman on July 1, 1962 in Alton. He preceded her in death on September 7, 2011. She now joins him in heaven for an everlasting love.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was an active part of the L.I.F.T. Support Group.
She is survived by one son, Dwayne Rickman of Concord CA; one daughter Debbie married to Rob Killebrew of Alton; six grandchildren, Michael, Cody and Dustin Rickman, and Zachary, Amanda, and Sgt. Christopher Mitchell USMC; two great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Dean Rickman; three sisters, Emma Logan of Alton, Margaret Solis of Wood River, and Nancy Finch of Godfrey; and two brothers, Gene Twitty of Texas, and Bob Twitty of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a Brother Herschal Neideffer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 26, 2012 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm Thursday December 27, 2012 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. George Wooden officiating.
