Rosemary Bosoluke, 77, passed away at 11:53 pm Saturday January 28, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 19, 1934 in Alton, IL, the daughter of the late Michael and Susie (Lalik) Bosoluke.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton and was a devoted employee at Alton Memorial Hospital in the cafeteria as a cook.
Although she never married or had children of her own, she was deeply devoted to her family and helped raise her nephew Joey and niece Cathy with whom she had a special bond.
Rosemary is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Frank Bosoluke, Stanley and Sharon Bosoluke; a sister-in-law, Thelma Bosoluke; several nieces and nephews and their spouses, Rebecca and Randy Johns, Steve and Angie Bosoluke, Susan Bosoluke, Cathy Bosoluke, and Julie and Ted Prehn, Scott and Marcy Bosoluke; several great nieces and nephews and spouses, Patrick and Stacy Johns, Stephanie and Jay Sinclair, Andy and Jonathan Prehn, Spencer, Nick and Evan Bosoluke; several great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Steven Bosoluke, two sisters, Helen Bosoluke and Catherine “Katie” Riner, infant twin sisters, Edna and Eva Bosoluke.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10 am until time of funeral services at 11 am Thursday February 2, 2012 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.
Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Church in Alton or Beverly Farm Foundation.
