Rose Mary King—East Alton
Rose Mary King, 78, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 6, 1933 in Alton to Earl and Florence Dorothy (Theen) Raymond.
Her marriage to Charles C. King was on Apr. 14, 1950 in Jerseyville. He survives.
She loved crocheting, knitting, and painting.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a daughter, Cynthia (John) Alejandro of Springfield, Mo.; two sons, Steven (Janet) King of Lincoln, Ill. and Gregory (Sherry) King of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; two half sisters, Sherry Harris of Alton and Shirlene Raymond of California; and 3 half brothers, Joseph Harris of Florida, Wayne Harris of Alton, and Donald Raymond of California.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 28 at the First Assembly of God, East Alton, where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 29. Pastor Tim Keller will officiate.
Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery near Medora, Ill.
Memorials may be given to the church.
