Rosa Lee (Gunterman) Robeen

Rosa Lee (Gunterman) Robeen, 82, died at 4:45 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville.She was born in Jersey County on Dec. 23, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Herschel & Georgia (Vinyard) Gunterman.Rosa was a homemaker, and was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville.She was married to the late Ralph C. Robeen for 49 years, and together they were the parents of four children.Surviving are two daughters & sons in law, Beverly & John "Tiny" Gray of Medora and Brenda & Mark Bruhn of Bunker Hill; a son & daughter in law, Wayne & Becky Robeen of Godfrey; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce DeSherlia of Streator and Linda Buckley of Benld; a brother, Carl Gunterman of Las Vegas, Nevada.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles  Robeen who was killed on June 29, 1970; and three brothers, Albert Eugene Gunterman, Richard Gunterman, and William Gunterman.Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville with Father William Hembrow officiating.Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
