Ronald “Ron” Minner, 64, of Bethalto, IL, passed away at 8:03 p.m. Thurs. Aug. 2, 2018 at Alton Memorial Hospital ER.
He was born June 27, 1954 in Alton, IL to the late Harvey & Marcella L. (Owens) Minner.
On Dec. 5, 1992, he and Janis (Cato) were married in South Roxana. She survives in Bethalto.
Ron was employed as a truck driver for Olin Corporation.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons: Tim (Jamie) Minner of East Alton, IL and Chris (Trish) Minner of Cottage Hills, IL; 5 grandchildren: Evan, Taylor, Mackenzie, Jayden and Peyton; and 2 brothers; Terry Minner of Cottage Hills and Jim Minner of Meadowbrook, IL.
The family will hold a small time of remembrance from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services at 6:00 p.m. Tues. Aug. 7, 2018 at Bethalto Church of God for close family and friends.
