Ronald Maurice Hausman, 74, passed away at 3:05 pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at his home in Bethalto.
He was born on February 15, 1938 in Alton, IL, the son of Peter and Florence (Wyzard) Hausman.
He married Mary Gaetz on September 22, 1962 in Riplinger, WI. She survives.
Ronald was a superintendent for Interface Construction for 22 years. He was of the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed spending time visiting with his family and friends including his “coffee shop” buddies, golfing, fishing, hunting and jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Sheila Hausman of Bethalto and Brian and Brook Hausman of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Garrett, Becca, Logan, Lauren, Nick and Jamie; one brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Cheryl Hausman of Elsah.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Hausman and a sister, Verla Ballard.
A private family memorial service will be at 11 am on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Mark Hofferber officiating.
Memorials may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
