Ronald Eugene Nichols, age 59 of Edwardsville, IL, born February 26, 1963, in Granite City, IL, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, surrounded by family.
Ron was a 1981 Collinsville High School graduate. He loved to fish and BBQ. He was a talented guitarist, artistic, and enjoyed painting.
He is survived by his wife, Julie A. (nee Mason) Nichols, whom he married September 7, 1992; parents, Gary E. and Sandra L. (nee Parrill) Nichols of Glen Carbon, IL; two sisters: Jennifer (David) DuVall of Collinsville, IL and Sarah (Howard) Crenshaw of Maryville, IL; two nephews, and one great-niece.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 - 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the VFW Post #5691, 1234 Vandalia, Collinsville, IL 62234.
Memorials may be made in Ron's honor to Vitas Hospice and will be received at the Celebration of Life or can be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
