Ronald "Ron" G. Eubanks, 66, of Bethalto, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 2 p.m., while at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
He was born on November 19, 1957, in Wood River, IL, the son of Wilburn and Opal (Copeland) Eubanks. Ron married Marsha E. Trendley in Edwardsville on August 29, 1980.
Ron was a fork lift driver for 32 years beginning at Kraft, before retiring from Proctor & Gamble in November of 2022. He enjoyed Cardinal's Baseball, working outside in his yard, playing board games with his granddaughters, sitting in his chair watching TV, and spending time with his friends and family. He loved his dogs, especially Maggie.
Along with his wife, Marsha, he is survived by his children, Timothy Eubanks of Bethalto, and Amy (Ryan) Johnson of Bethalto; three brothers, Boyd Eubanks of Hawaii, Rick Eubanks of Missouri, and Adam Eubanks of Missouri; and three granddaughters, Khloe, Brinlee, and Gracie Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Paul Eubanks; and a sister, Mary Copeland.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastor Terry McKinzie will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
