Ronald E. Edwards, age 61 of Edwardsville, IL, born June 15, 1963, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at his residence.
Ronald worked as an auto body mechanic. He was a member of the Defenders Motorcycle Club in Naples, FL for over 20 years. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and volunteering his time at clubs and charities. He also liked to watch old western movies.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard “Rich” Edwards; two brothers: Carl Richard “Ricky” Edwards and Randal A. Edwards.
Surviving is his mother, Norma Jean (nee Mumper) Edwards; his wife, Pamela K. (nee Lambird) Edwards; four children: Heather (Jeff Mattingly) Laurentius of Perryville, MO, Justin (Heaven Sitze) Edwards of Marquand, MO, and twins, Stephanie (Zac) Beckerman of Patton, MO and Stacey (David) Edwards-Koogler of Troy, MO; nine grandchildren: Mackenzie, Kyla, Kaden, Brennan, Blaine, Peyton, Shiloh, Audrielle and Aspen; a brother, Rusty Edwards; step-daughter, Danielle (Pickens); step-son, Michael (Trinity) Tune; five step-grandchildren: Carter and Elena, Cameron, Kameron, and Kendall.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 12 p.m. at the VFW Post #5691 in Collinsville, IL.
Memorials are suggested to the Defenders Motorcycle Club – Naples Florida Chapter, Inc.” or Finish MS, 2025 Disney Princess Half Marathon.
