Rodney E. Stumpf, 72, passed away Monday, January 6, 2024.
He was born on March 27, 1952, the son of the late Forrest H. and Virginia Mae (Hazelwonder) Stumpf.
Rodney grew up in Calhoun County and his early years were spent helping with the family farm. He later spent a few years driving a truck locally in Illinois. He moved to Jerseyville and went to work for Jerseyville Manor Nursing Home at Liberty Village of Jerseyville. He enjoyed talking with his many friends on his CB Radio.
He is survived by two sisters, Peg (Richard) Montgomery, Pat (David) Grady, one brother, Tim (Angela) Stumpf, four nephews, Jacob, Bradley, Kevin, and Dustin, and one niece, Jenny.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. at Gress, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin, IL.
Burial will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery in Hamburg, IL.
