Robert Deon “Bobby” Herrin III, 40, passed away at 11:59 a.m. on Friday, August
30, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital as a result of injuries suffered in an accident.
He was born on October 24, 1983, in Alton, the son of Diana (Little) and Timmy Tinnon of Brighton and the late Robert D. Herrin, Jr. In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his son: Theodore Herrin of Brighton, his adoptive brother: Steven Beckham of Donnellson, Illinois, his grandpa: Jimmie Little of Rosewood Heights, his grandma: Sintha Tinnon of Roxana, and many other extended family and friends.
Bobby was employed at Williams Flooring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on stereo systems. He was a 2001 graduate of FCF Christian Academy in South Roxana.
In addition to his biological dad, he was preceded in death by his sister Casandra
Herrin, his grandpa: Mickey Tinnon, and his great grandparents: Ernest and
Eleanor Fraley and Alvis and Addie Marie Little.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Art Hooper will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family with checks payable
to Diana Tinnon to be used for expenses will be accepted at the funeral home.
