Robert Duncan Fulton, 81, of Gillespie, IL, died at his residence on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 9:36 a.m. He was born October 4, 1942, in Chicago, IL to Robert Davies Fulton & Geraldine Louise Duncan Fulton. He married Patricia Ann Crouser Fulton on February 20, 1965 in Gillespie, IL. He was retired after having been a high school principal for Community Unit School District 7. Robert enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals, Fighting Illini, auto racing, fishing, mowing grass, and his dog, Coal. He is survived by his spouse, Patty Fulton of Gillespie, IL, children, Robert "Bob" (Lucinda) Fulton of Staunton, IL, Suzanne (Baron) Stayton of Carlinville, IL, grandchildren, Miranda (Chandler) Coulter, Lydia Fulton, Samantha Fulton, Megan Stayton (Patrick Kilian), Drew (Breanne) Stayton, Jillian Stayton and brother, Glenn (Renée) Fulton of Moro, IL. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Partnership For Educational Excellence District #7 or Siteman Cancer Center.
