Robert “Bobby” Gaskill, age 46, passed away at 1:18 pm Sunday, May 6, 2012 at his residence in Alton.
He was born on October 29, 1965 in Alton, IL, the son of Terry Gaskill and Nancy (Harbaugh) Gaskill.
He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed working on cars, doing construction, and watching football and baseball.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Brown, of Alton, and Tiffany Reynolds of Dow; four grandchildren, two sisters; Tammy Avery of Wood River, and Veronica and her husband Ronald Springman of Cottage Hills; a brother Phillip Gaskill of East Alton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Terry Lee Gaskill.
Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded.
A Memorial visitation will be from 4pm until time of service at 7pm, on Thursday May 10, 2012 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton. Rev. Dan Smith will be officiating.
Memorials may be directed to the family for funeral expenses.
